About Us

Right to Live Society - Palestine was founded in 1992 as the first and only Palestinian institution that works in the field of rehabilitation of people with Down syndrome at different age levels through a full range of rehabilitation programs and services including:

Early intervention program for children with Down syndrome, from birth to 4 years.

Kindergarten program for children with Down syndrome, from 4 years to 8 years.

Special education school for children with Down syndrome from age 8 to 14 years.

Pre-professional rehabilitation program for people with Down syndrome from 14 to 16 years old.

Professional rehabilitation program for people with Down's syndrome from age 16 to 18 years.

External driver and job creation for people with Down's syndrome over 18 years.

The Right to Live Association adopts the philosophy of integration for people with Down syndrome at different age levels, through the following programs:

With the successful experience of the Right to Live Association in the rehabilitation and integration of people with Down's syndrome, which was clearly marked by increasing numbers of beneficiaries and directly proportional to the number of people with Down Syndrome academically and professionally integrated into the community. The Right to Live Society sought to replicate this experience to a marginalized group of Down's syndrome children with autism through a specialized rehabilitation program.

 

In the midst of these burdensome responsibilities and burdens on the Society for the Right to Live, the Society has not neglected its social responsibility towards the local community, especially towards the poor and marginalized groups. It has set up special programs to implement training and community development projects, as well as sustainable development projects and relief projects.
