HRH Prince Al Walid Ben Talal Center for Down Syndrome is one of the working centers under the supervision of Right to Live Society-Palestine (RLS). In fact, it considered as the main center in the RLS. It was established over total area of 1300 m² and it provides the RLS with 30 classrooms divided on two floors. This center basically offers rehabilitation services for patients with Down Syndrome.

 

This humanitarian project was founded by HRH Prince Al Walid Ben Talal to be the first of its kind in the Arab area. It represents a significant step of the humanitarian work in Palestine. The center provides the local community with specialized rehabilitation services and it serves more than 470 children with Down Syndrome.

 

Vision

We aspire to make HRH Prince Al Walid Ben Talal Center for Down Syndrome an international pioneering center.

Message

The center aims at rehabilitating patients with Down Syndrome. It also works on encourage the Palestine society to deal with and respect such category of people. This step will of course facilitate the process of integration with others and it provides these patients with normal stable life to be more self-independent.
